ADC is pleased to announce that 100% of our products are now "Lead-Free". With the increase of society's enviromental awareness and the Enviromental Protection Agency's focus to protect human health and the enviroment against the dangers of lead, ADC is now doing its part to reduce the exposure of this highly toxic heavy metal.

ADC is now using insulation and jacketing compounds that are environmentally friendly while still meeting our high standards of quality and performance. Our "Lead-Free" cables still meet the NEC requirements and are as tough and durable as ever.

Since the 1980's the EPA and its Federal partners have phased out lead gasoline, reduced lead in drinking water, reduced lead in industrial air pollution, and banned or limited lead used in consumer products, including residential paint. How long before the EPA targets the wire cable industry?
